This is a consumer focused course that prepares students for vehicle ownership as well as the advanced automotive course. Units of study include automotive lubrication, identifying various vehicle fluids and fluid colors, and performing vehicle preventative maintenance. Course content also includes automotive engine theory and basic automotive electricity. This course is lecture, demonstration, and hands-on oriented.
