Beginning Television and Film Production 161
A prerequisite for the Advanced Television and Film Production class, this course in television and film emphasizes the technical and creative aspects of television and film work. Students learn how to operate cameras, editing software, and other broadcasting equipment. The first half of this semester class is spent working on editing projects, producing and directing a live in-studio television program and producing a feature story. The second half of the semester is spent studying film production, as students undertake the writing and directing of several narrative film projects. Lights, camera, action!
