This course provides the student with opportunities to acquire knowledge and information regarding the rules of the road and safe operation of a vehicle. This course meets for a minimum of thirty clock hours during a semester. The classroom phase of driver education is required for graduation. A DLS year-long section will be available.

Prerequisite:

• The student must be 15 1/2 years old to be eligible to take this course.
