Foods and Nutrition 161

Foods & Nutrition 161 is an introductory course designed to help students explore the basic kitchen fundamentals. Students will create appetizing foods that are appropriate for busy schedules and average budgets. Units include fruits, vegetables, eggs, cheese, meat, grains and desserts as well as meal preparation. Culinary & hospitality careers are also explored.
