This instructional course is designed to provide students with the basic pre-algebra skills. Topics may include: factors and multiples, reading and interpreting data, negative numbers and coordinate plane, and equations, expressions, and inequalities. Emphasis is on problem solving skills and applications. Students follow an individualized curriculum with content and objectives based upon appropriate state standards. This sequence of courses is designed to prepare students for higher level math courses and to fulfill high school graduation requirements for Mathematics.
