Honors Advanced Television and Film Production 371, 471, 571, 671, 771
Students in the Television and Film program may be invited to enroll in this advanced television broadcasting and leadership course in which students are expected to demonstrate expertise in television and film production and operation of Glenbrook South Television (GBS-TV), the school’s cable channel which reaches over 11,000 families in the Glenview area. Students will make content decisions, manage production schedules, mentor staff members, and will learn a variety of organizational and management techniques to assist them in working in professional television and film studios. Course may be repeated for additional credit.
Prerequisite:
- Successful completion of Introduction to Broadcasting 161
- Successful completion of Beginning Television and Film Production 161
- At least one semester in Advanced Television and Film Production 261
