Advanced Television and Film Production 261, 361, 461, 561, 661, 761
Students enrolled in Advanced Television and Film Production class produce all of the programming seen on Glenbrook South Television (GBS-TV), the school’s cable channel, which reaches over 11,000 families in the Glenview area. This class provides numerous exciting opportunities for students to create and direct a wide variety of film and video projects. Working individually and in groups, students produce news and entertainment programs such as Titan Sports and The Glenbrook South Report. They also produce several narrative film and documentary projects. In the second semester, students film and produce videos for the Variety Show. The year winds down with the production of the “GBS Video Yearbook.” Students who successfully complete this course will have the foundation for a career in the television and film industries.

- Successful completion of Introduction to Broadcasting 161
- Successful completion of Beginning Television and Film Production 161
