Advanced Radio Production 261, 361, 461, 561, 661, 761
This is an advanced course in radio theory and production. Students in this course are expected to be conversant with the terminology of broadcast production, evaluation, and performance. In their assigned roles in specific station departments, students have opportunities to develop skills with digital production/editing tools, station programming, performance evaluation, and organizational management. Students also have opportunities to evaluate the role of the district radio station, WGBK, in the community. Considerable out-of-class time is required. Course may be repeated for additional credit.
Prerequisite:
- Successful completion of previous Radio Production course and instructor approval.
