Entrepreneurship: Business Incubator 163

This course blends entrepreneurship lessons with an immersion in application of business practices to bring an idea to reality. Students learn by doing through authentic, real-world application and hands-on problem solving by developing a business idea as part of a team. Students acquire foundational business concept, then apply those concepts to develop the team’s new business idea through multiple iterations. Principles from the Lean Startup methodology help students test their thinking. From concept to Minimum Viable Product to Pitch, students are hypothesizing, testing, adapting and learning as they work in teams. Student teams will pitch their innovative idea to potential investors and possibly get funding to turn their business plan into reality.
